Bought an 06 Tacoma access cab from my company. The guy that had it, had the A/C compressor fail but continued to drive it home and it was "burning hot" when he got home. He mentioned that when it went out speedo/odo went out abs/brake, cel came and power windows went out. I checked all fuse with my multimeter/ohm tester and they are good. Is there a relay that these are tied into together that could be an issue? I tested several relays in the engine bay fuse box and they seem fine...anything I could be missing?

    I appreciate any insight.

Yes, checked them all...we do not have power at the interior fuse box (for the windows) but all fuses are good in the engine bay too. I thought all relays were fine. I'll double check them. Is there a relay or two inside of the fuse box?

If you do not have power to the window fuses check the PW Relay and The 50 Ampere J/B Fuse. Both are under the hood in the fuse box.

Is the PW relay inside the box under the left side of the steering wheel?

Checked all relays (unless there are hidden ones) all 3 blue "90080-87026" behind the cabin fuse box are good, including all fuses in both cabin and engine bay boxes. Went power directly to PW motors those are good. So since there is no power to A/C Blower, Pwindows and the odo/speedo are not working, I want to assume they are tied together somewhere, somehow. Everything else is working from dash lights to cabin lights to brake lights, wipers, power mirrors horn headlights etc...I'm stumped. I'm trying to look through the manual but no luck.

    Yes.

Did you check the IG1 NO2 Fuse.

Are you using a multimeter to check the fuses or just going by the visual check?

If going by visual you need to pull each fuse and check for continuity across it.

Multimeter/OHM tester. I am even running the multimeter in "tone generator" mode through the fuses to double check them.

Well, I figured it out. When I was doing secondary testing of relays, a step past the multimeter test (I was using the Horn relay because I knew that one worked) trying it other slots of the same value. One of the switches I made was EFI, don't ask me why. Well I didn't put the EFI relay in the right spot. I found it and valia it runs. Speedo, ODO, blower, windows and all dash lights are off. Thanks again. I'm glad I became a member an hope to join the other conversations out there.
