So as you can see from the pic the bushing has mushroomed out due to me lubing the upper arms and not loosing the thru bolt. My question is is it unsafe to drive like that? I'm about to drive from Oregon to Montana and a little bit up to Canada and I don't have the time to replace the bushing until I get back. Do you guys think driving it like that would be ok until I get back? Thanks !

Just burp the grease out. Use a nail or similar and push in the ball on the zerk and that should release the grease/pressure.

    ...too much shit to list.
That's why you are supposed to loosen the nut on the UCA through bolt before adding grease.
Burp it like @Wishbone Runner said or loosen the nut and wiggle the UCA and it will allow the grease to escape.

Went ahead and did what you said with a nail and popped the grease out. Do you think the bushing will mold back to its normal form or is it permanently disfigured

Loosen the bolt. The bushings are pretty flexible. It will pop back.
Driving it around mushroomed like that will deform the inner part of the bushing though.
