^^^Yeah, white is the only color uniform that looks good head-to-toe, especially on storm troopers.

All right I made the pics but I hate confidence points.
In one of my other pick ems I am leading the win loss but am in 3rd because of the stupid confidence points.

Who comes up with that shit? That's good stuff.

With just 12 bowls to pick, and some with pretty obvious winners, confidence points are the easiest way to make sure we don't get 3 different people who tie.

he supposedly mistreated a player with a concussion. If it was anyone other than an ESPN analysts son, I don't think this woulda happened.

Some interesting shit comming out in the press now. The whole deal with the James kid is being used as an excuse for tech to get rid of leach

EXCLUSIVE: E-mails show rocky relationship between Texas Tech and Leach

07:19 PM CST on Wednesday, December 30, 2009

    DALLAS MORNING NEWS STAFF

Earlier this year, The Dallas Morning News obtained Texas Tech e-mails through an open-records request. The e-mails show communications between Tech administrators, primarily Chancellor Kent Hance and athletic director Gerald Myers, and athletic booster Jim Sowell of Dallas during contract negotiations with football coach Mike Leach. At the time, Leach and the school hadn't been able to agree on a contract extension after several months of negotiations.

The first e-mail among this group, dated one year before Leach's firing, shows Sowell recommending to Hance and Myers that Tech should stand firm in its negotiations with the coach. “You should sign a contract that would not cost us too much to fire him,” Sowell wrote. “He has to have a big buyout. He has shown no loyalty.”

Here is a .pdf of the emails for anyone interested.

I want someone else from TT to come out and tell us another side of the story. According to the kid and his dad on ESPN, they locked him in a small room twice and he was guarded and not allowed to sit or lean, but according to Leach he was in a dark rom and had someone there to provide ice for him the first time, and the 2nd time he was in a room with AC that had a stationary bike for him to ride if he wanted to to stay in shape. So I want someone else to come out and I wanna hear their side of the story.

Honestly if it wasn't Craig James's son this wouldn't have even been in the news. If it was a regular Joe, Leach would keep his job and we wouldn't be having to hear about this crap. If it did happen the way James is sayin, then yea, it's not somethin I'd enjoy, but I wouldn't go to the national media about it. You're supposed to be a football player. Quit bein a pussy and complainin about everything. Today's athletes wouldn't have made it back in the day when coaches were allowed to do whatever the frig they wanted and practice as much as they wanted. Maybe that's why people used to be tougher and didn't complain as much.

This is way beyond just the kid now. If you have time look at the last link I posted. They were wanting to get rid of Leach since last year and this was just a convenient excuse.

here is a news clip showing the places James was "locked up"

I caught a little of it, but missed the end. I'm a big fan of teams going for 2 to win it... like Boise St. against OU a couple of years ago. It makes me WAY to anxious to enjoy a gutsy call like that when it's my team, but I love seeing it happen in games I don't really care about.
