Anyone regret the color they chose?

You can always put a hard acrylic, glass or ceramic coat on black to make it easier to maintain. Costly though.

Interesting that "Inferno" ... is not red enough for me ...

Barcelona Red changes some depending on the light... Outside under blue skies it seems more maroon. Under these lights it looks more red. Checkout the color differences in parts on the SR5 at the Dallas auto show earlier this year.

But I will take a guards red Everday, love it.

993 guards red 993 Turbo S. Though the deep purple on that isn't bad either

Inferno isn't orange enough for me. Lambo does the best orange.

 

Looks as good on the RS7 as it does on the taco

 

Black
Pros: Looks killer. My FJ Trail Team rims, black CA license plate, TRD Pro grille, TRD Pro headlights and Pelfreybilt armor bumpers all color match.
Cons: Gets dusty as a mofo quick, resulting in frequent rinsing off. Gets hot in the sun. Scratches appear more compared to other colors.
But I do not regret getting black, I love it.

I slightly regret going with black. The only reason is because I park under trees at home and under trees at work. So 2 days after I wash and wax, the truck is covered in sticky sap and junk and being black it looks really bad.

 

White is a little cooler in the summer. But it looks dirty quickly the same way black does.

White doesn't hide scratches and after years, it starts to get stained.

I would prefer any shade of silver or gold. Those both hide dirt fairly well and are low profile.

 

Does someone make truck covers?

 

All 993's should be arena red.

 

I'm sure someone does, but I would have to put it on and remove it multiple times per day.

 

Silver is the best. Clean, simple and universal.

 

I really wanted the MGM but they only had a BR in stock and the wait for any other color was something like 3 months so... i went with the BR.

I've come to this realization as well. Its not that I don't like other colors, but its hard to beat common sky silver for an everyday driver truck color.

 

Love my Inferno!! It's very close to the Molten orange on the Raptor! Both have yellow metallic in the paint and look orange in direct sun.
