Yes....

Anything will burn with the right variables in play. Most likely an isolated event until the investigation proves otherwise.
In the spirit of continued fear mongering there are plenty of pics on the web of 1st and 2nd gens cracked in half but people still bought them by the droves.

I guess you just take your chances no matter what you buy.

Eliminating arson, for a fire like that Gas is definitely involved. Something in the fuel delivery system failed and started that fire.

 

Something got too hot is my guess.

Hope no one was hurt. Hope someone had insurance. Hope it was due to 'stupid', not a vehicle flaw.

 

Might park the truck in the drive instead of the garage until we get to the bottom of this one

 

This way you can thoroughly coat the AC condenser and not actually get to the fire with any fire-suppressing agent.

Heard the cause of the fire was from nitrous backfire after banging the motor ( purging thru the motor) . Was trying out a 3 kit system

This is why I will keep my 2nd Gen. This one still runs & shifts just fine.
