Yup, exactly this. Ran the wire up the a pillar and in between the headliner and roof. It snakes down near the go pro mount and is out of site for the drive.

iyapysnf - If you are considering taking your HU out anytime soon (to upgrade speakers or
add an amp), you can tap into either the +12V Battery or +12V Ignition and the Ground,
add another 12V cigarette outlet under the dash, plug in a 2.1A charger and then a 4' or 6'
USB cable. feed it over/behind the glove compartment and then up the alpha pillar on the
passenger's side (close to the windshield, tuck any excess under the headliner and you are
all set with unnoticeable power to your GoPro.

The control arm plugs are just plastic plugs from Lowes that stop the musical whistle at speed.

Took care of some of the chrome. Used a Krylon Gloss black. I think it turned out pretty good.

Nice tires, just curious why you would down size from the stock 265 70 16's? :notsure:

Isn't that size slightly taller and narrower than stock?

Stock tires are slightly wider than the 245's! They are pretty much the same height!

There is a negligible difference between 245/75 and 265/70. Even with the 245's, it gives the illusion of being bigger than the stock AT's w/Kevlar. I'm not a 'big tire' person. If this tire woulda been available in 265/70 I would have gotten it just to keep it stock. I kept my Jeep Rubicon stock tire size during my ownership. I think the 265/75's in this size would look huge and may possible rub due to the lugs sticking out. It really looks much wider than the stock ones. That could be due to the lugs and appearance. I don't know. I've never claimed to be an expert with tires. I'm extremely satisfied with this size. In the future, I may even go to the pizza cutter size.

There just aren't a lot of options in the 265/70 size. There are Duratracs but they were $250 more per set, would still drop mpg's and would take at least a week after ordering them. Another local tire shop confirmed the price and length of time. Plus, once I saw these a few months ago, I had to have em. lol

These tires aren't taller. They are a hair shorter, and yes more narrow than stock. However, with the tread on these they surely don't look or feel like a downsize.

$720 OTD for 4 with nitrogen added. I'm selling my 4 stock tires to the tire shop for $150 with 5,700 miles on them. I might could get more, maybe not...don't know and don't really care. $150 will be enough for me to recoup a little of the expense and I don't have to fool with selling them on Craigslist, etc.

I don't doubt that a bit. I'd be hesitant to put the Buckshot II's on there in that size. I think someone else is running this tire but can't remember who right now. Maybe he went with the 265/75's and can confirm. I bet of they don't rub, it's as close as you can get without rubbing. lol Big tires just aren't worth the risk of it rubbing.

Edit: the guy I referred to posted in the wheel and tire section in a thread about the II's but don't know/remember what size he used.

You can find the tire size calculator if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the home page. There are little links you can click its in the second row the second one from the right!

What you think are standard on Kia's and Chevy's are actually dealer installed Pulse Protects modules.

A little nip tuck never hurt. 285 and 16s with no lift and no rubbing in the parking lot. Lift is waiting to be put on. Oh yeah I also added bed mat and tail gate rug for dogs, some plasti dip on the grill and magnaflow cat back. It was a fun weekend!!:)

Not attempting scare tactics merely stating fact, Florida's DBPR has nothing to do with FDOT or FLDHSMV. You can be a Florida business in good standing with State/DBPR -I was a contractor for many years- you can even offer whatever warranty you wish, if USDOT and FDOT do not approve it's illegal. Not going to get into a pissing contest with anyone, facts are facts, laws are laws, regulations are regulations. Not even trying to sell the product, I did do my homework and feel VERY confident that the module I installed will be providing me with an insurance discount within a year. No other module can make that claim, it's simple really it's patented, anyone making something similar has a patent infringement lawsuit in their future.

    I'm done with this!
