Thanks man! I agree that my recovery gear needs to be a focus since I have close to nothing, other than some slick hi lift slider adapter ;),
you think my truck is okay not regearing yet? or is it something that I should do soon so my diff can take a break? I notice the loss of power but not sure if its something I should do in a year or wait two years?

I have been looking at on board air! Ill add that to the list of options thanks for your advice and will definitely need your help and expertise on the diff installs

Hahaha well the slider adapter is all you'll need haha!! Jk. I think since you're on 33's you'll be fine on stock gears for a while longer. Gears certainly help but I think you'll be fine. You could probably make that next year or the year after.

Yeah for sure dude a nice OBA setup is a huge game changer. I love my ARB compressor. Being able to air up and down or help someone else with air. If you pop a tire have a tire plug kit, then after you patch it you need to be able to air back up your tire.

For recovery the first things off the top of my head would be (besides winch)

    1. ARB tire puncture kit
    2. Shackles
    3. Recovery straps
    4. Snatch block
    5. Trenching shovel
    6. Traction boards

Yeah @SDkoncepts808 and I have been talking about an OBA setup, if I got with lockers later and need a compressor should I just go straight to getting a dual arb air compressor or will that compressor not be able to do both lockers and air up tires?

Definitely need to build a recovery kit, so this is a good start!

Absolutely! If you plan on getting a locker or lockers then buy an ARB compressor. You won't regret it. I know they're pricey but great quality!!

I have the super winch tiger shark 9500 that I just installed. Warn was too rich for my blood even though they're really nice. I've heard great things about the Engo and everybody that I know that has a smittybilt has been happy with theirs. If I were you I would pony up the dough for the synthetic line. Extremely strong, very light weight, and also much safer than cable if it were to snap!

okay dang pricey but sounds worth it, that's cool that I can have it go to both lockers and an extra line for tires

I agree most of this, only thing if I put both racks because I was thinking of doing racks after I get the shell, then bed drawers. your first 4 are what Im going with and are the cheaper options for that's fine by me. Thinking of grouping recovery gear, winch, on board air, all together for next years projects. Then the following or depending on budget might sneak dual battery in next year too. sound good?

@Shmellmopwho any clue on compressors if I can run the vlair with a 5 gallon tank and do both tires and lockers or if I should get arb dual for both lockers and tires. or run a compressor for tires and another compressor for the lockers?

Hey Rhett, I would skip the Icon progressive AAL. With all the weight you are/will be carrying in the rear, you're going to want Expos, or Dakars with the extra overload. The AAL will sag like a cholo in East LA. They can't handle your beastly build!

Hey Ryan! What are your thoughts on the TigerShark? I was looking at them too and Amazon has them for $50 off so I can get the TS11500 with synthetic line and aluminum fairlead for $528 shipped. I had also looked at the Smittys, but never found anyone that ran them. A lot of guy son the east coast have the TigerSharks and all report good things, but not anyone I know personally. Just looking for first hand info. My winch hole looks sad and empty...

Have you considered getting an arb compressor and a co2 tank?
