Seriously, all awnings in this price point are the same. 4 telescopic poles and two extrusions with double channels.
The James Baroud video shows the wrong way to set it up if you're trying to do it alone. Extend the horizontal poles before unrolling.
The Hannibal, Fiamma, and Ezi-Awn awnings are different, along with the gigantic price tags.

 

If any of us make a video for the tepui awning it is going to look identical to the video above just with a different cover.

I get that the basics are the same. It has a tarp. It has legs... Triple stitched? Snaps vs Velcro? What type fabric? Drip edge? Length of legs? Self retracting? Yes, they, again, are similar. I. Get. That. I've been told repeatedly on that other thread that there's a Tepui video for it, but no one seems to be able to post a link.

 

i do believe you're over complicating things for no reason. Something that physically just doing it would explain rather easily. If it were different or more difficult i'd imagine Tepui would make a specific video for it.

Your Toyota truck... It's similar to that Ford/Chevy/Nissan truck. Just look at their videos to see what the Tacima looks like.

 

Not really, as All the different manufacturers have different variations of trucks, so Apples to Oranges right there. The awnings are the same, if nobody has linked one by now, I'm willing to bet there ISN'T one. Other than actual set up video, all other info can be found on the internet.

 

My Tacoma was made on the Tacoma assembly line at one of Toyota's several plants.

ARB, Tepui, and many other awnings & tents are made in the same factories in China. Maybe some are made with different materials but essentially, they are the same.

 

Trying to be helpful, those questions would probably be answered better by Tepui customer service than a video. I would email/call them directly. Might be able to guide you to your answers...

 

try going to a local dealer and have them show you.

Wrap company didn't include the blue I really thought might match. So they're expediting me the sample. I guess I'll wait and see.

 

This what I didn't want or need from y'all. I was hoping to find a Tepui video. It likely would have answered all my questions. I don't use this forum to get details of a product. That info should be provided by the manufacturer. If there is not one, then there isn't. But asshats over in that other thread kept saying there is but offered nothing.

It was just a simple ATFQ.

 

Somebody answer her damn question so we can move on!
