It's not bad at all really. I can get them off by myself, going back on is a little harder. All you do is unscrew the 4 screws out of the kick panel, pull the side panel up in the footwell, disconnect the two connectors going to the door (and go ahead and pull them through so they don't get hung up while you're pulling the door off), unbolt the stopper, then unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the door on!

Monday, at work, I will be notching the tops of the each of the hinges so I can lift them on and off by hand!

I think everyone is right, you technically dont, but Ive wired up all my accessories with relays in them just to be on the safe side bc I hated wiring everything so my intent was to do it as right as I could the first time, so I wouldnt have to do it again....after a year, so far so good. just my .02

@zacharypaul89 By myself, yes. This just makes it easier to get them back on instead of trying to hold the weight of the door in the right spot and simultaneously get at least two bolts threaded in! This way I can leave the top bolt for the upper and lower hinge in the door and slide them down into the hinge to hang them.

I'm about to put them back on since it's supposed to rain the next three days and I'll have my wife either take pics and/or video. Pics I know I can post, not entirely sure if I can post a vid via my phone or not w/o it being too much of an asspain.

@BYJOSHCOOK any idea if you can post a video via tapatalk?

Alright, so @zacharypaul89 and @BYJOSHCOOK, the video didn't come out so hot. It still is a pita to get them back on, but I did do it by myself, where if you don't notch all four of the top bolt holes on the hinges, you definitely need an extra pair of hands. Standby for a pic dump/walkthrough!

Not really sure what happened there, but A) I know the pics are huge (sorry) B) this is of course reinstalling them. Taking them off is pretty much the opposite, but, of course you wanna undo the connectors and pull them through before you start unbolting everything haha. Here are the steps in a nutshell to take them off in words:

    1. Roll your windows down
2.Unscrew the 4 screws on the kick panel and pull it off
    3. Pull the footwell kick panel off (no screws, bolts, etc. just pull it straight towards the back)
    4. Unplug the two connectors and pull them through (driver side more of a pita w/ the other stuff in the way)
    5. Unbolt the stopper in the middle and get it out of the way (10mm socket)
    6. Unbolt the 4 12mm bolts and away you go! Be careful at this point bc that door is pretty heavy!

I've seen some SC guys do it, seems simple enough but I don't have plans to take my doors off anytime soon. Maybe when I have a DD
