Finally posting my truck first here after I lifted it and put wheels on it.
Sad news tho... I gotta do some trimming, the work never ends.
Before u ask... the lift is 3" icon stage 3 and 285/70/17 tires.

I'm not sure if the hinges are sitting on the brackets or not, but yeah, my hood no longer sits flush when closed like before. Did the grinding fix the issue? To be honest I could only use two of the three holes on each bracket. Like I said at least I got a tshirt. I had to go onto you tube for an install video because I recieved no instructions. The guy in video did, lol. He had the same issues as I did and experienced the hood issue too.

 

Yep. I learned to drive on those things. And my uncle was in the military so I spent a lot of time around them. Those things are pretty tits.

What light bar is that?

 

Heretic Wraith 40". Got it from @zscott together with my rack, so I had a pretty decent discount. It's basically 4x10" pieces connected together, but the side pieces have different LED on the outside.

Finally got my test set up to work on my 05 tacoma with a 2013 non JBL non Navi radio.
Used a CCTV camera and 12v off my external fuse block. All I needed was to find the pin on the back that needed to be activated with 12v when in reverse. Had send 12v to pin 2 using the red/black cable to the blue down too the kick plate using the reverse power off the trailer plug. Now that I know it works I can buy the pop a lock setup with locking and camera capabilities.

 

Beautiful truck, one of my favorite colors! Black wheels compliment the color splendidly!

Where did you get the pads? I still haven't put in my Dakars and don't want to fight them after they're in.

 

Changed the oil again.

 

Had them drilled/installed at a local spring shop, they charged 10$ each out the door so 80$ total

 

I seriously need this mod... I hate my squeaking dakars

 

First trip down to southern utah cabin. Loaded it up this am and it performed like a champ. Dinner and the view tonight. Tomorrow I may go hit some of the ohv roads in Dixie national forest to explore a bit before cutting wood.

Just ordered these for my truck! They look great on the white too. Glad to know they even work well at stock height. Should be more than ok with my Icons
