    How do these do with heat? Am I going to want to avoid the shift knob like I do the seat belt buckle in the middle of summer?

    It can be a valid concern depending on your climate. I live in Michigan so the temp rarely gets above 90 in the summer. I've noticed them get pretty warm at times but not unbearable. I've also noticed that they seem to cool relatively quickly once you handle them and get the ac going or windows down. The knobs are made of aluminum so while they can get hot like your seat belt they conduct heat more efficiently than the steel a seat buckle is made of and therefore will cool off faster.

    Also you might consider the clear anodized color instead of black as it will absorb less heat.

    Ah! Im in southern Utah and its not uncommon for outside temps to be mid to high 100s even up past 110 during the summer.... I might just have to make the sacrifice and keep a right handed glove on the passenger seat to handle the shifter when it gets hot hahaha!!

    I'm in Ohio and we have had a few days near 90 since the install. The knob does get hot but not hot enough to be concerned. I can still easily shift into reverse/drive without issue. Once you turn on the AC it cools down quickly.
