Thanks, it has served me well. Looking forward to continuing the build when funds permit. If you're ever down in my area and want to wheel Big Bear let me know.

Went up to Ventura to pick up the Pelfreybilt swing out and Rigid Industries back up lights from a friend yesterday. Bryant sold his truck so he didn't have a use for it. Gave me the swing out to save me some cash. The jerry can mount was damaged from some idiot that backed into him, so I'm going to grind out the welds myself and then drop it off down At Pelfrybilt in Poway for either the rotopax mount or another jerry can mount and get it repowder coated. Going to order the hi-clearance rear bump in April when I get my tax return, or sooner if I can scrape together the funds.

Dropped off the swing out and ordered the high clearance bumper while I was at Pelferybilt in Poway yesterday. Went out to lunch with Tyler and Satin and chatted for a while. Reminds me what great friends they are and why I support their business. Should have my bumper in time to install before my trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in late April.

Finally back home! Picked up my rear bumper and had lunch again with Tyler and Satin Friday afternoon! Bumper is getting installed this coming Friday with the help of Bryant (HolyReptor). Expect to see him in a new Tacoma this time next year.

I'm debating 35's. Wife's company cut everyone's salary by 10g's so the CEO can have a new plane, yacht or Ferrari, so my truck might stay a DD for a while longer. Not sure I want to be rolling on 35's since my work is 65 miles round trip. Hard decision.

How's you're mileage? My issues is my RPMs are too high regearing to 4.56 with 285's, giving me shitty mileage. If running 35's will lower my RPMs by 500, will be worth it. I've been hung up on stuff with 285's that I would clear if I had that extra 1.5 inches of clearance with 35's. It really comes down to if it will kill my mileage more that has me holding off.

I'm getting about 13-14 mpg. I'm on stock gears still though.

Pics from today on Pilot Rock Trail. It was 100+ degrees, so I didn't get out until the end to take some poser shots.

Sweet! What tire pressure are you running at for the rock stuff?

I usually run between 13-15psi. It was so hot and humid, I only went down to 25psi. At that psi I had issues with traction and had to pic better lines, because the tires couldn't conform or wrap around rocks. Was just too hot of a day to be out wheeling.

10-4 that! If it's that hot four wheeling, you need to be in Baja so you can get to a beach and jump into the sea!

I was going to guess you were not at typical crawl pressure. My German friends in their G-Wagons use BFG All Terrain TAs and go right to 10 psi. No flats and no stucks. I am always leery of sidewall damage in rocks when too low. So far so good, but I will drop to just 20 and have not been stopped (maybe thanks to A-TRAC?)... In sand, then closer to 15 psi is the sweet spot.
