Not familiar with tonneaus. What else is needed to attach to truck?

 

Just installed mine. Pretty simple job. Stock hardware required or this is useless. You can trim your plastic top with a box cutter and I have the dims if you need. This sucker weight at least 80lbs so it's not as light as it looks. It's pretty solid once installed.

 

I'm pretty sure the long bed and the short bed is the same. @Sandstorm_yota

I've seen some pics but I'm not sure if this is the same system that I saw.. Does this folds into pins that are bolted to the bed? So I would need to cut into the bed plastic upper edge and all that??

 

Yes it does fold into pins bolted to the bed. You would have to cut or just buy new rails. This is the factory cover hard tonneau from Toyota
