Mine used to be super cheap jar of prego sauce and a big bunch of cheap spaghetti noodles. Usually get 2-4 meals out of about $4 worth of food. Used to ALWAYS be someone who had the Big Jar on sale and then the couple of pounds of the store brand noodles. :)

Looks like dog food ... Government cheese with a lb of hamburger, bought a $2 bag of tortilla chips and a jar of jalapenos. Spent $10, will get 3 meals out of it. $3.33 per meal .. done in my rv .. I am trying to stay frugal when working out of town

Pour yourself a bowl full of Cornflakes, and crush them up a little with your hands. Add lots of milk, and put them in the fridge to soften. Take 1/2 of a banana, and mash it up with a fork till it's a banana paste. Then, mix in a couple of heaping spoonfuls of mayonnaise. Slap 1-2 slices of bread into the banana mixture and cut it into pieces. Take the Cornflakes out of the fridge, and prepare to sit down to a FANTASTIC meal. You'll want to take a big bite of the bread mixture, and while your chewing on that go ahead and take a big bite of Cornflakes...YUMMY! Try it, and I bet you'll like it. This meal is called: "Cornflakes and Mashed Banana."

    Everything TW members recommend
Throw any leftover chicken into a small pot, saute with any available oil, throw in garlic powder, pepper and any spices you like, dump a can of cream of mushroom soup, frozen peas and corn. Heat it through and serve with rice.
Quick, easy, tasty. My girls love it! We call it chicken delight.
