So they're saying the damage is less than your deductible?

We had an agent at work who had black hair with a grey stripe running front to back, no lie. We called him Pepe La Pew after the 1970's cartoon strip. Of course not to his face, we were all armed of course!

Just fix it up and sell it and add to bumper fund. I can ask a guy at work with a 15 if you want me to.

Said it was only 136 worth of damage and the bent bar can be tweaked by loosening bolts and just realigning it..

Did you hear about that gun club that did live bird shoots? They held it in a secluded area away from the activist, so the activist flew a drone in to spy on them. It didn't end well for the drone.

Folks I have been watching the AR build threads here for a while and I just want you all to be safe so I'd like to point out a few things. First off I was a Federal LE Officer for 20 years but not BATF, (hate those guys) Second I'm retired.

Ok here are a few things that I'd like you all to know. If you build a rifle it needs to have a 16" barrel anything shorter and it's a pistol. If you buy a lower (the legal registration part) and you register it as a rifle you cannot legally put a barrel shorter than 16" on it. to do that is a felony. Now if you buy a lower and register it as a pistol you can use a shorter than 16" barrel as long as it does not have a buttstock on it. I know it's a dumb law but it is the law and you could get pretty rung out by the Feds if caught. What I have found is that there are a few "Old Sanctimonious Coots" at the ranges that feel compeled to callout the Feds on folks if they feel that we are doing something wrong. So please be careful. One last thing and I'll shut up. The SIG Brace should never be shoulderd as it makes the pistol a short barreled rifle which requires a $200 tax stamp and all kinds of Gov't permission. Anyway have fun and enjoy your builds as much as I enjoy mine.
