I have a silver 2012 tacoma 3 inch procomp lift, I want to put a 3 inch body lift so I will have a total of 6 inches of lift, and so i can fit bigger tires.
    Is this a good idea?

If bigger tires are your goal, you can skip the BL. I am running about 2" of lift and clear 35s.

is your only goal bigger tires? do you care about ride quality? What other uses do you want for the truck?

It can be done with no lift without rubbing. with 35s

No mudflaps, cut fenders .. then installed fiberglass fenders when I trashed the cut ones. Flattened and beat the hell out of the pinch weld and the wheel well.

Yeah if he doesn't want to beat and trim I totally agree with you.
