Hello. This is my first post on this great website. I just bought a 2007 Tacoma DBL Cab TRD Sport. I recently debadged my vehicle and painted them flat black. I bought some scotch double sided tape to re assemble them. The tape was very difficult to cut and almost impossible to cut the center of the "o" and "c" in Tacoma.
I was wondering what is the best stuff to use and how to properly use it. Thank you in advance for your help and support. If you have any pictures and or videos that would be awesome.

    Thanks,
    Matthew

At Home Depot there is the 3M or Scotch adhesive that is the same as the original grey adhesive. It is a soft, pliable, clay like feeling that comes in a roll. Apply the adhesive to the badge first, then use a razor or exacto knife to trace and trim the edge of the badge. It cuts like clay. It will give you a great finish.

I used this stuff to hang my fire extinguisher bracket in the bed. It sticks.

Thank you for your help. That 3m stuff looks great. I was wondering where I could buy that. I had bought the scotch brand And noticed it is extremely hard to cut. Any tips/advice?

Its tedious. Use a razor knife. Take your time. Your fingers will be sore. Its worth it.:D

Welcome to TW! The 3M stuff is great. If I black mine out I am going to use some MIL grade stuff. Probably B1/2
