I liked it but edge was peeling and dirt started to get under it.. and the line made it look dirty

 

yea I feel you on that. ive got the clear bra thing on my rear fenders and I guess moisture got underneath them or something because now theres a mold line right at the edge and spots of mold underneath it. looks like crap, and wont come off!

 

My 2011 had the same issues. I used a heat gun to remove the plastic bra and then a Mr Clean Sponge to "polish" up the edge. I then used some compound on a buffer to reduce the edge line. It came out pretty good looking if you did not look to close.

 

haha it doesn't bother me that much. adds a little character, or that's what I tell myself.

 

You're right after all it is a truck! I wsd trading mine in and wanter to maximize the crappy trade in amount. I think i did well and got $24,000 for a high miles 2011 TRD OR with no nav etc.

If I were you I would go with Steel over Aluminum at this point.. Screw weight, you need protection.

 

Thought about it.. would save $400 but I like my gas mileage lol

 

With that big target painted on you, god forbid you gas mileage gets better (wrecked truck and end up in a corolla). May need constantine to come help

@Jeffvt0508 dude, you got shafted by that adjuster..I hate that. You pay insurance for a reason, and when you need it they shoot you in the foot.

Have you thought about changing insurance companies? I'm with state farm. They've been pretty good to me.. the guy in Pendleton, Ken Rowland is a firefighter with Pendleton #2.
