Thanks!! I was planning on getting some duplicolor in impulse red pearl and trying to repaint them myself. If that does not go well, then I guess I will get a quote from a local body shop to do my hood and both fenders, as my clear coat is flaking pretty bad..

I've used the rattle-can duplicolor IRP before on small items. Turned out pretty good on the headlight fillers. Might have been because they were primed flat black. :notsure:

so, you think i should sand, spray black primer and then paint red? I would have thought white would do better but i might have to experiment...

Grey is actually the easiest color to cover.. but black would be fine too I bet. Make sure you wet sand in between coats and Polish the clear really well

You could get rusteolum self edging primer, I think that's how it's spelt anyway, it's gray.

The '20' number was from another member in the BAMF diff armor thread, so it could very well be 40. I'm not too worried regardless. I wasn't looking for a deal necessarily, just that a GB might give @JLee the volume needed to make it worthwhile for him. As for whether or not the forum could produce enough serious buyers, I can't make an educated statement. Not really up on the socioeconomic cross-section here.

Push comes to shove, I'll draw one up in Solidworks and see what it would take to get one fabbed. I'm not in a huge hurry, and it would be a cool project.

Icons are pretty good. Right in line with Total Chaos. The ball caps are in dispute though. Some say they prevent stuff from getting in, some say they keep stuff from getting out, which can cause excess wear. The latter is why TC doesn't put caps on theirs. They would rather the dirt get in and get out rather than trapping it.

Also, I've heard the Camburgs are only good for up to 2.5' of lift, so if you're going 3", keep that in mind.

nope no simulator. I had some vibration in my cat (probably just the heat shield) and decided that was a good enough excuse for me to remove it all together.:sawzall: Turns out the cat was just fine upon checking it out after cutting it but i do not regret my decision
