Truck Meet in Kentucky (Red River Gorge)

Looking favorable on a couple 4 Runners, along with XJ, and my Taco. The 4 Runners want to make a 2 or 3 day weekend out of it. We just need to know WHEN to meet @ Cosco

 

We are meeting at Costco at 10:00a.m. off exit 108, then heading out shortly after! Sounds great! A few of us are camping Saturday night and making a 2 day weekend of it as well!

 

I passed on the info to a couple guys from Expedition Portal. They're in 4 Runners and driving down from Indianapolis area. They were looking for a group that's going to RRG on the 17/18/19. I'd expect them to be there! I'm still trying to talk my buddy (in the XJ) into going. He's going to have a "date" with him, courtesy of my wife setting up the intro.....So....I have to talk THREE people into going to RRG instead of a 5 mile long power line right-of-way trail near Madison Indiana. The things women will get you involved in....

 

I can never take Costco seriously. Skip to 4:25ish for Costco reference.

 

The lady friend is wanting to attend and is wondering if any other women will be going. I told her I'm sure someone's wife or girlfriend would probably be in the mix so I told her I'd ask and find out.

 

5 mile power line or the Gorge. I think I'd choose the scenery the Gorge had to offer over that any day, but that's me!

 

I would too. UNFORTUNATELY, I put the wife and two other people in the mix. Now I get to let them decide my fate. I'm a little dense sometimes....

 

If I get there. my wife owns the co-pilot seat.

My wifey is too prego to attend. She probably won't ride with me again until 5th annual LBL meet.

 

Offroad Expo was a cluster. Still not sure if Ill make it. Really wanting to flush my power steering to get rid of this whine I have. Got a weird driveline clunk too that I think is the carrier bearing.

 

I'm still creaking cracking, clunking, and drinking. But not whining. Probably just go for it lol

 

I'm 80/20 going. I'll see yall at Costco I'd say

 

My truck ain't making a sound that it shouldn't. My knees, my back, etc,.....well, that's another story.

 

Tell her she better cook something for me or she's out! Def bring the baby though.

 

Too bad I have plans for Saturday, or I'd come up for the day. Never really done any trail riding/driving, and this looks to only be a couple of hours from my house.

Alright, so I'm doing a shakedown this am. Found both of my front wheel bearings are shot and I still haven't had my spares rebuilt. Installed Christmas/New Years week from Bamatoy. Been in my spare parts box a couple years but maybe have 3500mi on them. Probably about to run to the stealership and drop off my spares for them to complete. FML, still not done here either...

 

That ain't good at all....
