Craigslist scammers? This was this morning

 

It's sad people still fall for one of the oldest scams in the book. Folks get suckered everyday on these scams.

 

What's the deal on this one

 

Bought it.
Just sent them 20k$ via email money transfer. Truck is supposed to get here in 2 weeks via freight.

I can't wait!

 

They write you a check that rebounds

 

A lot of times they will put the money in an account an say you need to pay for the movers which is 200 or more depending on the item. Then they require you to put in a certain amount for said movers then when the movers come they will give he cash back because the scammer can't pay them because they can only use PayPal at the moment. So then they get the cash you are suppose pay the movers.

 

Interesting, never heard of that before. Suppose I only really sell vehicle parts though.

 

Tried to get me while I was selling a car on Craig's list lol.

 

Or they open a brand new checking account with 25 bucks in it and request checks that start at like in the higher number issued so it looks like they write a lot of checks. They write you a check from the account with only 25 bucks in it for your high value item they leave with and you are left with shit paper.

It happens. I got pissed and tricked the dumb asses into giving me their home addresses in Tennessee and had PayPal file fraud charges against them. They kept saying they were in the Middle East with military. So kept saying I couldn't use a apo address so the dumbasses gave me their home address.

 

Alot of these scanners are just getting your emails and phone numbers which you are giving to them by contacting them

 

Well they could have had an exhaust system installed......
I had an exhaust shop do a magnaflow for me, I kept the stock exit look and added a chrome tip, they could have made it a straight instead......

Not saying this isn't a scammer because it seriously has scam written all over it, but whoever actually owns the truck could of had an exhaust done at a shop with a straight instead of the 90.

The trans is automatic, and has also memory seats and is awd...you will see when will arrive at you. I'm not sure if you're familiar with eBay or its Purchase Protection program. I have described you how it work's in a 6 easy steps, see below:
1. Buyer, seller reach an agreement (price and delivery conditions)
2. Buyer sends money to eBay.
3. eBay confirms to seller that the amount has been received.
4. Seller performs the required services (shipping, insurance).
5. Buyer accepts delivery and informs eBay about the acceptance.
6. eBay releases the money to seller.

It even has the same accessories as the one you're selling! In order to put my full trust in our transaction I need a sign of good faith that shows me you are who you say you are.
