Yeah totally get it. Same but opposite for me. Springs need a little repair but by the time I pay to ship, have them repaired, and get them back I'm selling them for less than what I just paid to get them fixed so doesn't make much sense for me. Ideally we're looking for either someone who really, really wants a 50T pack or someone that maybe lives in So Cal and comes to Vegas occasionally that can grab them and take them to Deaver for a refresh and have them good as new.

We have a pair that have been sitting for a little over two years. They probably had about 500 miles on them total. Cracked a leaf that needs to get repaired and could use a complete once over. Will sell them for $300. For $250 Deaver will replace the broken leaf, clean them up, and re arch them. So in total you're looking at $550 for a fresh 50T pack.

Question- Was reinstalling the rails in the bed and when I tightened them down I could hear fiberglass cracking/crackling. Sounded like It was coming from the bend where it goes over in to the bed, right where I was tightening the rail. Is this normal or did I crank down to hard on the rails. I could see a gap in between the glass and the rail so I tightened until I couldn't see the gap and right about then is when I heard a little cracking.

So is the gap between the back of the glass bedside and the OE bed tub ? If so can you just put a washer back there to fill the gap ? Maybe use a rubber washer ? Lowes & Home Depot have rubber and nylon washers.

P.S. also a good idea to put some anti seize on those rail bolts, those things get as gnarly as the bed bolts.

There was a slight gap in between the bed and the glass on the inside, and then alot of the gap in between the rail and the glass was all the imperfections along the glass edge, so I'm hoping that's what I was hearing cracking. I didn't see anything spidering along the glass at all

Chaos gear always looks rad and they have a lot of trucks out there on the track. Camburg not so much, other than their 6100 spec TTs but that's not what we're talking about here

That's pretty typical with installing fiberglass. Nothing sits flush like the OEM fenders do. Like Jason suggested, you can share the low spots with washers that way you're not over stressing the imperfections in the fiberglass. No matter what you do, when mounting glass you're going to hear it cracking and creaking a little bit.

I've had 3 trucks with Chaos kits on them and they have never let me down. With Total Chaos you could have the entire kit the next day(not 4-6months after the purchase date), a lot of vendors have them in stock. Most of their kits are race proven. Total Chaos also has superior customer service and that's really important to a lot of people on this forum because they lack cognitive thinking abilities. They still probably won't answer on Sunday tho..

Have yet to see a Solo Motorsports kit out in the wild, so I have no opinions on them. Looks like a quality kit.

Yeah I was just curious since I know Total Chaos is top of the line, but I just recently came across Solo and hadn't seen it before.
