    Hey everyone!

After a couple weeks of tinkering with the setup and ordering various bulbs, I've come up with a parts list (with Amazon links) to convert almost all of the bulbs in my TRD Sport Access Cab to LEDs. The number in the parenthesis is the number of bulbs you need (most packages come with 2 except for the set of 10 that covers the middle brake, license plate, and map lights and the dome light which comes in a pack of 4):
    Total cost (w/Prime shipping): $235.91

    Tools required:
    • Scotch tape
    • Flat head screwdriver
    • Knife
    • An extra set of hands
    • Around an hour of time
It's tough to photograph, but I've attached some pics. I'll try to get some better ones, but trust me, this upgrade is well worth it. Overall the brightness of the lights matches the OEM brightness or brighter, and I tried to be as cheap as possible without sacrificing quality (good Amazon reviews). The color ("temperature") of the bulbs is close to white (not very blue) and matches well with the default DRLs (minus the amber turn signals of course).

The install was fairly painless, but there were some hangups: The license plate lights are probably the hardest, but work the same as most: twist and pull. The old map lights are easy to remove if you wrap a short piece of scotch tape around them, make sure it sticks to the bulb, then pull straight out. Also, be careful removing the lens of the map light and dome lights, as they aren't very robust. I used the point of my knife to remove them. The headlights/fog lights are simple enough, but require a flat head screwdriver and both of your arms in the engine compartment. Luckily Toyota made it roomy in there to work.

The map light is the only bulb that didn't fit exactly right, so if you find a better fitting one post it here! I had to pinch the ends of the bulb to get them to kinda fit into the slotted holder. Basically, you need a bulb with very pointed or flat ends or one that is just a tad bit shorter (like, 30mm). I couldn't find an alternative and the one that I linked to above has worked fine so far, even though it doesn't fit as well as OEM.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments!

    A few minor things...
How do you like your forward facing lights? I tried the OPT7 60w leds and the Atshark 110W kits on Amazon and both were colder in color than halogens (obviously at 6000k), but put out noticeably less light. I sent them all back and I'm going to pick up a morimoto HID kit from the RFS soon.

With both the fog lights and the low beams on I have no problem seeing everything in front of me without blinding people. The bulbs I recommended for the fog and low beams are brighter than the first ones that I tried and seem to do a lot better.

The main issue I ran into with the low beams was that they use a right-angle connector, so there's no room for the cooling fan that normally comes with the higher power bulbs.

Any hyper flashing with these bulbs? Don't see it listed if they have built in resistors.

Nope, I haven't had any issue with hyper flashing.

I was about to ask the same thing, the rear brake light swap was just the bulb? no extra stuff?

Yup, just the bulb! Nothing extra, worked right out of the box. I've heard of other people having this problem, but luckily I haven't run into it.

Are they a lot brighter than stock? On the rears?

And when you saw 3rd brake light, do you mean the one above the rear window?
How'd you get that cover off?

The rears are a little brighter I'd say but the lense back there diffuses a lot of the light and I didn't compare side-to-side, just going by memory.

Yup, 3rd brake light aka the middle brake light near the roof of the cab. Also I don't have the bed light, so I'm not sure how to remove that cover. The cover on mine comes off with just two screws and the bulbs (3) come out pretty easily. Make sure you seat the rubber seal that's inside the light correctly when you put it back or water could leak in.

Check out the manual I attached starting at page 487 to see how to replace all the different bulbs, which way to turn them, etc.

I just realized I forgot to post the reverse light bulbs that I installed: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K3GBRQ2

They are super bright, but it takes a little more force than I would like to seat them in the bulb holder. So far no issues, but when you install them they will be VERY snug and you won't have to push them in very far.

That brings the total cost to ~$235

new to this thread and this forum...question for chan2565...was there any particular reason you did not convert the front side marker lights to LED?

I believe the ones on the mirror are already LED or do you mean the ones that are still part of the headlight assembly? At any rate, I don't think I could find a replacement for them (or an alternate part number from the ones in the manual) and I don't really notice them as much as the other lights.

i mean the ones in the headlight assembly. it looks as though those are the only bulbs besides the vanity that you did not upgrade to LED. According to the manual it says the front side marker lights are bulb W5W, same as the license plate and map lights. I figured if i open the headlight assembly i might as well upgrade all the bulbs to LED
