Of course man, and I don't blame you. Those lifts are cheap for a reason. with what you had said everything that was added to your truck to get the special model all seem to be cosmetic and that is it. The truck should be a SR5 and any of the other kits will fit you well. Pictures will help so we can see what you have though :boink:

Nothing seems out of the normal there other than the black shocks... that is one I have not seen before.

For someone to make a good recommendation for you, you should think about, then post the following.............

Why do you want a lift?

How much do you 'think' you want?

If bigger tires is part of the 'why', do you have a size in mind?

What are your objectives in terms of ride quality, handling, gas mileage impacts and impacts on other components of the driveline?

    Budget?

My first clue. Most beginners are way under budget. Don't cheap out and buy junk just because you have a few sheckles burning a hole in your wallet. Save up, do it right, do it once, and enjoy it.

Black is what comes on all non TRD versions. Those appear to be normal.

My reason is strictly for looks. All i want is front end level with back. If that cost more than i imagined so be it. I am with you on quality. Price does not matter. Thanks for the advice. I promise you i will research for hours before making a decision. I really just got serious about it today.

Here's my recommendation for a budget lift, but still done properly.
    2885 Coils
No strut assembly-I say this because the method I did I didn't need a spring compressor and was able to easily do it in my driveway
    No UCAs
    Deaver Single AAL
    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p227/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_(HS05BK-1).html
I have this set up (different AAL, but they're really all the same) and I couldn't be happier with it.

It all looks normal to me, nothing out of the ordinary. The upper control arms look to be at the factory angle, no spacer above the strut.
The kit @EatSleepTacos recommended would be a great option for a simple quality lift

Thanks for the advice guys. I also just ordered some weathertech mud flaps because the oem Toyotas won't fit these bushwhacker flares. Guess what, neither do weather techs haha. Anyone know of mud flaps for these bushwhackers?

Nothing out there will be molded to fit. You'll need something flat and make it fit :sawzall:

The suspension is stock SR5. I lifted mine with Bilstein 5100's, Eibach coils and an add a leaf. Got it all from Headstrong Offroad. The reason Rough Country says it doesn't work is because our fenders are bigger and will have a hard time clearing the 33" tire they say you can with their lift. The xsp-x is purely cosmetics, and I've seen the package on mostly SR5 base trucks but also on TRD Sports.
