Oh yeah, I just need to stick with the once a week or twice a week deal. I eat pretty healthy when I go out but sometimes it gets away from me. There isn't much healthy in my building other than salad so I just try to compromise what I have for lunch with what I have for dinner. If I eat crappy during lunch then chicken, broccoli, and rice becomes my go-to dinner

Been super busy doing 15 hour work days so haven't been in MFPal and not able to wear the FitBit while working.

Today went for a 30 minute bike ride because I needed to go by my office. Figured I'd take the bike instead of drive, it's 4 miles round trip.

    MFPal said 396 calories burned.

I guess it's worth adding that's probably the first time in over a year I've touched my bike!

Report from Fitbit for week before last.
The only self logged category that isn't accurate is calories out and weight (I track weight with MFP so I can see a graph)

    Body acclimating to the change?

If I were you, I'd just make sure you know what your intake is and a good approximation on what your output is during your exercise and target the deficit you are targeting and not worry about how your appetite goes. I know there are days where I'm not hungry for dinner and days where I could eat three dinners. It's just discipline from there.

Played some tennis after work today then came home and ate 5/8ths of a pizza, but my macros are pretty close to where they should be and I kept my calories pretty close to where they should be.

I've been in the gym every weekday for a while now. Doing the 5/ week plan from the bigger leaner stronger book. I've dropped 10 lbs as of this morning, have more energy than before, and even hold a smaller appetite these days. Yesterday was legs day, today arms, then my wife and I went to our ballroom dance class. Sweated my but off lately.

It really is. We started going as a means to practice a dance for our wedding, but continued on and still go 1-2x a week. I've learned so much in the classes. Wife has a background in dance and my past music skills apply well, too.

Last workout for a week tonight. Probably gonna do right chest, bicep, trap, and probably legs as well. Then hit the stair climber for 45 min. Surgery tomorrow at 2:00 pm. Gonna come to the office for a few hours in the morning get some last minute paperwork done and then head to the surgery center.

    good luck tomorrow. Heal fast.

If it's any consolation, our friend got the bill for the chopper extraction. $20,000.

Hospital was only 8 miles as the crow flies

Gonna need some will power for Saturday night. It will be my first night home after working 7 midnight shifts. It was easy to stay under the calorie limit when working nights. Nobody asking if I wanted anything while they were out. Nothing open, so no temptation to have food brought in. Can only eat what you bring.

Wife and I are planning on grilling Saturday night. I want some type of steak. I also don't want to over eat...at least now as I write this. I can't say I wont hog out when the meal is actually cooked.

I do know a few lite beers will be consumed as well as the food.

Presently the menu will have the following.

Steak (of some sort and not very big.)
    Fresh aspirigus
    Corn on the cob
Other items to be added and will most likely be some sort of vegetable.

I will most likely be the only meal I eat that day. I'll get up around 1pm and will not eat anything until the grilling is done. 7ish is about right. Not the most healthy, but swing shift is a mofo for keeping to a diet.

Unfortunately, I will have to turn around and go right back to bed. Have to report to work the next morning at 5:30am. I have a rule to not sleep on a full stomach. I guess I'll have to sleep on my back that night.

I'll report in later how bad I fell off the wagon.

    KO out
