When I get a hair up my ass to upgrade turbo on the evo I wouldn't mind trying to rig the old one up on the Walker.

I'm scared of those people selling pulled motors on CL. 90% chance it doesn't run. I rather get a beat up motor and fix it myself on an engine stand.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

I even like that rear bumper. The bolt-in aspect is a wash I don't mind one way or the other but that hinged light bar has me wet.

I eyed that bed cage down like crazy. I'd go outboard the frame on the shocks if I ever made one. Prerunner look without going full race truck.

I quite like your cage actually, functionality for some carrying and yet still purpose built. I keep telling the lady she can have a straight axle and we'll just both have to tow trailers for camping

Mine is a bit aggressive. I'd still save the bed just so I can pack it full of stuff

    ythink?

I've had my eye on a few of those trailer-hitch mounted tire carriers to get my spare up and out while doing shit like camping and "overlanding" with you fellas. Looking like I run fast while crawling slow is a goofy mix...

But I still love no tailgate

When my buddy finishes his truck up in the next few months I'll send you a pic of his. He doing bedcage outboard shocks and keeping bed. Think putting a spare tire in place of the trail gate

Definitely interested in seeing what comes out of it. Problem with doing a long travel/race rear end is everyone does it their own way, no two trucks really look alike!

That what nice about it. You get to make everything your own style. Keeping the bed is a nice luxury. Get rock guard from tires. Easier to pack for camping.

It's taking a while. Weekends are really the only time I can take a good attack at the truck. I actually just messed up a tube over the weekend. I'm working on the bar the goes across the top window line. I cut the notch a bit off and now it too short. I'll get there. I'm taking it really slow until my tube notching skills get good again. Pretty complicated working on the roof line

I can imagine. You doing the V in the front or skipping that due to possible ticketing? I'm getting such a mad itch for a big suspension upgrade but it's impossible to do right now. :goingcrazy:

Isn't that why you do a cage? Yeah I'm doing the v bar through the dash. Sex appeal.

Get the cool adjustment knob on the resi:cool:.

I really hope I don't need to get triple bypass shocks in the rear. Those are 12-1500 for those

It's like having that little clevage at the pelvis

For that price just run dual shocks for maximum testosterone.

I'd recommend the resi if you go do some serious overland stuff. It will keep the shocks from fading if you do long runs and the trail isn't smooth.
