I apologize if this is already a thread I could not find this exact issue. The last three days I have noticed the truck at any speed has started to bounce up and down.(all motion is felt though out the truck and not coming from the steering wheel) I had the tires balanced twice, alignment done, drive shaft and U joints checked and a couple other things. It seems to be coming from the rear end. Only thing I had done to the rear was about a month ago for the leaf spring recall. When I was under I noticed the left springs and bracket seemed bent or twisted. Anyone else have this problem?

    That spring hanger looks derped..o_O

Throw a level on it and check to see for sure. That could be causing your hop.

if it just keeps bouncing after hitting a bump then your shocks are shot.

Yeah that hanger looks cock-eyed. I would think that would cause some issues. Get a BFH and straighten it.

Its a constant motion going up and down seeming to come from the rear, not just after going over something and then having a continual motion, unfortunately.

Just a shot in the dark here but try taking some measurements with a tape. Maybe distance between front end of the leaf springs compared to the distance between the back end of the leaf springs. I would assume they should be the same(parallel). I guess you could also take some measurements off of the rear axle and make sure it's not out of square. You could also pull out your rear shocks and compare how they feel when you try to compress them, you'll know right away if one is blown out.

My guess they don't have the spring pin in the hole in the axle on the left side.

I have a pair of original Yellow Bilstein shocks (TRD Off road pkg) off of my truck I might part with. They are like new only 4k mi when I switched to 5100's. If you can come to HB even better. Msg me if interested.
