    If this is not a satirical story, then it is just another way in which a serious disorder is being broadly applied to a non-relevant situation. In this case, the strategy is to shock readers, which generates discussion, leading to others clicking on the webpage, thus generating income for the owner from advertisers. This is the same for any media outlet, whether it is web page views or TV ratings, but the problem is the it cheapens the perception of a serious medical disorder.
