    Wonder if it's the exact same as the factory hood like underneath cause I have a set of Redline Hood struts to put on eventually once I get a scooped hood and that primer color they have it is pretty close to my silver on my truck lol.

    It's a gelcoat that has a glossy finish really nice! About the hood struts honestly since the hood is lighter and it is fiberglass I'm not sure if they would damage this hood, i don't have the exact weight differences. I wish I weighed it before install to pass on the numbers to @RedlineTuning to see what they recommend.
