Talking to @TucTaco520 and he sold his AAL add a leaf and was telling me to buy it especially since I get a free OE three or four replace from Toyota. Should I do that or tuff country add a leaf? I am rolling with 2inch blocks at the moment. What should I do?

 

The OE leafs are junk. If you want to go the AAL route, I say look into the Icon progressive 3 leaf. If you're open to spending a little more to be done with it, look into the boss leaf pack (I think this is what @XPOTRPR has) or the dakars with the third leaf removed.

 

I'm ordering Dakars here shortly to swap out my factory leafs with a toytec AAL... it works fine with an empty bed, but is useless to me with all my gear, RTT, bedrack, etc in the back.

 

I don't want to have to add and or replace anything else. I was told the dakars or other like it need brake cable extensions, and other things like that

What is your end goal is what you should be asking yourself are you looking for added height in the rear and don't need to hold more weight ever or will you be added rear armor, or a rtt/bed rack any time soon with the leafs.

 

Whit was showing me the pic you sent her. If that store is gong to burn down grab me some archery supplies and one of those back packs like Whit has!

Big block of wood. goes from 7" to 14.5" so definitely need a block. But nice and solid, sturdy, and compact.
