Northern Virginia Roll Call

No trails, it's mainly farm lands and state property. So no chance of wheeling around here unless you want to be quickly introduced to the local law man.

Honestly, all that was ever talked about was sitting around in the shade and enjoying some iced tea and maybe burgers. If this is something that there is interest in I will need a definite head count, ideas of what is wanted out of this and we can begin ironing out details.

Again, this will require plenty of planning to accomplish because of current situations, but it can be done. So let's hear it.

 

there were a bunch of good trails out here especially down around madison but i haven't ridden them in ike 25 years idk if therestill is or not i'm sure there's someone

To give a rough idea of location, Google map beaverdam va. I'm about 5 to 10 mins away from that little town.

 

Oh I know where that is. Not far from my brother-in-law's house in Lake Land'or. Was going to see if he'd want to join us since he's a truck guy as well; if that's ok with you that is.

 

GPS on my phone actually says I'm in lake land'or. Even though that's not my mailing address.

I've got a scan gauge since I bought the truck. Easy install and you can enter codes to read tranny temp and afr

 

When I was looking to get my sliders powdercoated, it was almost the same amount to get them line-x'd. I don't do any off roading anymore, time, neck issues, etc, so I just went the line-x route. I've used line-x in Manassas twice and they have done great work both times. Of course that is a textured finish, but it is a much thicker skin.

 

Nova Powdercoat in Sterling gets good reviews and is local. I paid $150 to have my sliders powdercoated near ft. belvoir but the guy did a crap job so I do not recommend him to anyone.

 

@TacoFMS when you looking to gather?? You are about an hour and a half away, would be great to see some other trucks and folks

 

Sadly I won't be making it next Saturday as @DOUBLLD will be helping me with welding my new LCA tabs on and then getting my new front suspension installed
