Magic words. You need to say the right combination of magic words. My stealth install was a tight fit but my mechanically challenged ass finally got it together.

Gotcha, I thought it was just the fins themselves that needed to be trimmed.

Shooting you a PM with some clarification. Trimming is part of the Flush mount install, just have to use patients.

Ya Toyota made this a tight space. Hardest part on both mounts is getting the bolts in the LED because of the awkward space. My wife actually can get them in real easy while I hold the LED because of her smaller hands haha.

All done minus waiting on the Mictuning switch to ship from Amazon. Took about 3 hours, I recommend having a extra hand, starting the bolts into the bar was frustrating, but I didn't throw any tools, so that's a win.

It's was like that (not as extreme) when I was stationed in England. Winter is dark time. Go to work in the dark, come home in the dark haha.

I just like how you can have a late "night" in the garage with no issues haha

This is my second summer here, it's rough. It will be dusk at around 3 am, then turn right into dawn. On the Flipside, there's maybe 3 hours of daylight in the winter.

Got the mounts and light bar installed today, removed the grill for more working room. Still need to install the AOB center switch. Everything went and looks great. One problem.

Did a test run with stock harness (as sent) and no light. When pressing the supplied switch the green on light comes on but no LED. When off there is no red light (is this normal). If I tap the relay the LED will come on briefly (like a blink) and can be blinking with repeated taps. It does this with the switch in the on or off position. Does this suggest a bad relay? And help would be appreciated, new to this relay stuff. Thanks.

Check out page 13 for my big update. Also post #1 for the GB rules. The quick answer, they are shipping by the 20th. Soon!

Yup that sounds like a relay issue. Please do me a favor, shoot me an email at chris@apexfabworks.com with your same description and your address. I will send it to Cali Raised and let them answer the question as it is their harness and they are the pros. If it is a bad relay we will get one moving your way ASAP!

Either the relay has an open circuit or the connector going to that pole is loose. Those relays are inexpensive. I would go to the local auto zone and pick up a Bosch relay. Quick and easy fix.

Thanks Chris! By the way your mounts are awesome.

I'm going to buy a new relay and see if that's the fix, will let you know the outcome.

Mine functions the same way, it's getting replaced with a Mictuning so I didn't worry about it.

Actually, I may have read that wrong. Are you saying your light bar isn't coming on? Or the led light on your switch?

I think the LED in not connected, right? Just the LED on the button that flickers right?

Light bar is not coming on. Tapping the relay it will blink with supplied switch on or off.
