That's what I was told. All of the Asain territories have tried to conquer each other at some point in time. My Thai friend hated being called Chinese.

If any of you guys wants a free touch-up stick of MGM paint, swing through my house on Saturday afternoon and it's yours. If anyone wants my remote face Cobra 29 LX project, same deal. It did work, although it didn't transmit with much power. Fun electrical project, or maybe a good parts radio for someone.

Yes.

Honestly, unless you're an electronics guy who has a LOT of time on his hands, I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it. What I basically did was cut and extend every wire on the faceplate to be able to mount it in my dash remotely with the unit sitting under my seat. The radio did indeed work, but it never transmitted with a whole lot of power. I'm not a CB enthusiast by any means, so I don't know if it could have been beefed up.

Regardless, it's sitting on a shelf in my garage if someone wants to thinker with it.
