So I've done the 3inch suspension lift with 33x12.50s and now I'd like to add a few more horses to get those tires rotating easier. I've been looking into a performance chip and I'm sold on trying it any input is greatly appreciated. Also I'm rapidly approaching 60000 so I was thinking of doing a higher end spark plug such as E3 other than the plugs I'm planning on just flushing and adding new fluids am I forgetting anything

If you really want more hp/ tq then why not go with aftermarket cylinder heads , aggressive camshaft profiles , bigger throttle body and injectors and free flowing headers

Make that weak V6 put 450rwhp

Those options will produce no returns. You have 2 real options to restore power:

Regear to restore the correct drive ratio and correct for weight.
Forced induction to overcome the above.

Ya i was thinking about re gearing but I'm only on 33s I see a lot of people doing that for 35s plus I'm not trying to spend a lot the chip and the cai are fairly inexpensive so I thought I'd give it a try I've heard some good things about each we shall see

It is just going to make more noise. Any gains will be in the peak RPM range and not very useful for a DD. What you really need for the larger tires is more torque, not hp.

There aren't any cheap/easy options to add HP to the V6 Tacoma. Your options, as already stated, are to regear and get a turbo or supercharger.

Those 'performance chips' are largely scams, the ECUs on these trucks can't really be messed with, especially not to the point of doing anything substantial.

Why not just set aside some money every month until you have enough to spend on something that is reliable and proven to work well, like the TRD (or Magnuson) supercharger?
