2nd and 3rd Gen Flag Pole Mount Build Sign Up

Any idea when the mounts will be delivered? Im trying to intercept it before my wife knows i spent money on my truck.....again.

 

I received mine today, should be arriving soon for the rest if not already received.

 

Just got mine hand delivered to me from my front doorstep, by my wife, while she asked "what the hell is this?!" Lol

Anyways, put a base coat and plastidipped it.
Looks good, fits good.

Do any of yall keep the mount on or do you take it off and mount when its a special day or something?

 

I plan on taking it off when I don't have flags up. Why risk it imo.

 

In case any one ever wonders, I did purposely leave a little spot unwelded to allow water to drain out of it

 

I have a question about the size of this holder, I searched and didn't find an answer.

Will the factory/AMP bed extender clear this?

If that is an unknown, how about a base plate measurement?

what compression screw do we use, whats the thread size?

 

It'll fit a 5/16 bolt

 

The angle piece is 1.25" tall and 2.25" wide. The part the pipe sits on is 3"

 

All 3 show up?

 

I recieved mine monday.

Got a five foot 3/4" inner diameter conduit pipe from home depot for $3, punched a couple holes for screw in end loops and hit the pole with plastidip.

I already received my two yesterday. Plastidipped them today and will be getting the pole's tomorrow and the flags should be here Friday.

Just two standard polyester American flags. Ordered them off of Amazon.
