Once or twice lol. There is always something hilarious there if your on the criminal side, civil duty would probably be dull.

My favorite recently was the guy testifying and the prosecutor was asking him questions and then his defense attorney slightly rephrased the questions hoping to get a less incriminating statement. The guy goes "what the fuck dude I just answered that question stop being a dick". To his own defense attorney

Good luck Rob the last time I had jury duty was 2001 and I was on a murder case for 3 weeks.

I used to go and be gone by 11 o'clock not on this one though in the afternoon they had us on a bus going to look at a murder scene believe it or not and that was the first day when they picked us

They only pay you like $10 a day... But then again maybe you be on something like Aaron Hernandez's and can write a book.

Well we heard from a court officer, watched a video and listened to a judge speak, it was weird because they all sounded like they were trying to sell us on the idea. Duh were already here! Now we just sit here in silence and wait

 

They let you keep your phone? Last time I walked into a court house they made you leave phones and electronics in the car unless you're a Leo... Guess things have changed...

 

They let me keep mine in the waiting room, but I think we were supposed to shut them off once we went into the courtroom.

 

Jurors are allowed to keep their phones. At least they are here

 

What courthouse did you get called to?

 

I was in Brockton District a couple of months ago and not allowed at all

 

Maybe it's different when you're doing Jury Duty instead of just being summonsed
