I do believe water is drinkable in quantity and has no carbs. ;)

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Was doing good. Went camping. Ate OK. Threw out my back. Ate like shit since. Can't work out. Still down 2lbs in the morning.

I have had 3/4 of a Coors Light tonight but also not feeling it. Just pulled my water out of the freezer, so I'm golden now. Nothing finer than ice cold water except ice cold milk.

I am looking forward to weigh in.

Dunno why. Maybe this means I'm into it.

Gonna look at a gym next week maybe, Planet Fitness is kind of a gym for goons so far as I can tell, but $10 a month.

Weighed this morning 237 which is a new low. Officially cannot eat anything else until after surgery. Dr said I probably won't want to eat until Friday after anesthesia wears off so I'm probably not going to weigh Friday. I don't like dropping it so fast

    $45 vs $10.

If I had the money, no big deal. It's a 40 minute round trip, but gas is free and $45 is $45.

If my fiancée goes back to work, maybe I can blow the extra cash. Otherwise, it's PF or nothing. :notsure:

Maybe tell the other gym your going to join pf and see if they budge on price. Mine did for a member. I pay 10.000 a month after I told them there was no point in me paying 25.00 for stuff we didn't have and I didn't use. They just wanted to keep me around.

I guess I can try that.

I know it sounds odd that $35 more a month is too much, but such is the reality of my gym membership budget.

I know that a lot of serious fitness people look down on planet fitness, but if you're going for cardio and hitting the major muscle groups using machines, pf is fine. Go for a month, if you desire more you'll know you need a different gym. If not, enjoy the $$ savings.

Milk! Its another weakness of mine. I could drink glass after glass (who am I kidding? I swig from the carton). So many calories. I switched to lactose free, but there's a lot of sugar, assumedly to replace the sweetness of lactose. A glass of chocolate milk makes for a decent meal replacement if treated that way.

For me, the gym is a place to lift weights. Ive kept with the 5/week progam for a while now. More than originally planned, but I enjoy the feeling, so Ive done more.

Ive found some great HIIT workouts on the web. Havent seen one lately, but the bodyrock .tv crew had some awesome videos to work along with. All able to be done with body weight or other cheap stuff around the house. Also, lisa's not too bad to look at.

I can tell I have lost weight, I haven't been tracking my progress that much but I have been continuing to exercise and staying within my calorie limit. Once school is finished for the kids and things settle into summer I should have more time to track.

Where is irrelevant, if they have what you need and are open when you need it, buy the cheapest. Anything else is just eye candy and stuff you won't use and/or classes you won't take.

Not exactly true. Yes pf is a good starter gym or a last resort gym. But you still at most sign a contract and enrollment fee and cancellation fee. A co worker just went through this. And you may not need certain things right now. But what happens in a month or two when you want those other things and they aren't there ? Like an actual bench station that goes over 70#? Then you have to cancel and join somewhere else and go through the whole process again and it's more money more time. I referred my parents to pf because I knew they weren't going to do anything but walk on a treadmill or elliptical. My dad shocked me by getting on a stationary bike. That's the kind of people that pf is for. Rant over.
