    Well I took the taco to the drag strip today.image.jpg
    My best time was a 16.7 at 82 mph but if I can dial in my take off time and hit the burn out box before running I think I can hit 16.3-16.4 :burnrubber:

    Not bad considering I put my truck on the scale and found out that it's almost 5300 lbs with only a quarter tank of gas :eek::eek::eek:

    Nice. Mine weighs in at 5700 without the tent. Fully loaded for camping I am at about 6200.

    Just got back from the racetrack. Looks like I'm sitting steady at 16.7 in the quarter and can't get it to go any faster. I guess I'll have to see what happens after I get my smaller supercharger pulley. I also want to do the rear locker anytime mod to hopefully limit wheelspin

    No, I keep it in 2 because I don't have enough wheelspin to need to put it into four. And when I put it into four I go about .75 slower because of drivetrain loss. I only have a little bit of wheelspin and that's why want to do the rear locker anytime. Then I should have a perfect take off without needing I only have a little bit of wheelspin and that's why want to do the rear locker anytime mod. Then I should have a perfect take off without needing 4wd.

    And I think rock lobster got banned

    Drag racing on dry pavement sounds like a good way to break something with a locked diff but what do I know? At least it's a straight line. Let us know how it goes and whether it improves your time.
