Question on TRD Catback Exhaust

    Interested in this down the line at some point, both for sound, but also because of the annoying routing of the stock exhaust below the transfer case.

    The stock system has dual pipes and cats before the muffler, does the TRD system, being a single pipe and cat as far as I can tell, work fine with the stock system?

    The system is a catback exhaust. It installs after the factory catalytic converters and does not remove the factory converters at all.

    You need the URD Y-pipe to fix that. It also eliminates the rear cats so you just keep the front ones. It is available as a standalone product:

    You can also go to a muffler shop and have them to a custom pipe to change the crossover.
