what does everyone suggest/use as far as cleaning chrome and stainless steel? Even regular care. I heard good things about the clay bars. I have a white truck and want to "bleach" it. Not with actually bleach of course.

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I feel fairly safe with any Mothers or Meguirs product. I used the Mothers clay bar kit on my last car and it worked awesome, but it certainly is a lot of elbow grease. Not sure about any product specific to stainless or Crome.

X2 I have also used the clay bar (i used the griots clay and their spray also). it took some time but the results were amazing. as far as your chrome. i would recommend mothers polish. its in a small white can with a red lid if i remember correctly. works great.

AutoScrub nanoskin for the paint. You'll never use clay again.

If the chrome is just filthy, Barkeepers friend for the initial cleaning, then a decent polish and wax. You can also use the Barkeepers friend to clean the windows. Really does great at getting the windshield super clean.

Barkeepers Friend is good stuff. But if you're a cheapskate like me :anonymous: Oxalic Acid - buy in bulk from Amazon. It's the active acid in BK's Friend.
