I don't care really. My wife takes FOREVER to get ready to go to anything. I've learned to just go with it. I just go play some video games to pass the time so that helps.

Same here if I don't play games, then I'm constantly checking to see if she's ready yet so that were not late, because I hate being late, so I learned to play games to cope with her slowness.

I cant stand being late to anything. Gaia will wait to the last possible min to get out of bed or shower.
She was almost late for her flight a few weeks ago because of it.

My wife was the worst at being late, all the fucking time we were 30+ min late to everything.

For years, and I still do this, I tell her we are having dinner at 5:30pm with friends.

    Dinner really isn't till 6:30.

We show up at 6:15, nice and early ;)

Sounds like we all have that in common. I feel like if I'm not 15 minutes early I'm late...

She's caught on after 15 years of me doing it. But she's good now for the most part.

At one point in time I'd tell her I'd leave at 'X' time. If she wasn't ready I'd just leave her at home and take off.

Its not just women either, my brother growing up was the same way. I have just always been an early bird. Maybe I just learned to be that way cause I was always so tired of arriving late. If im not 30min early to a movie, i get upset. Even if I have reserved seats! I like to get cozy and take a piss prior. I hate getting up during movies.

Good morning folks. Been hit and miss for me the past few days. At times it gets pretty tough to keep up the "life is wonderful" façade and since I don't like to broadcast that stuff, I just slip into my own world focusing on the garage and work. Spent a couple few hours at Piper Cancer Research Center yesterday. We left with mixed emotions. There may be some possibilities, may be some hope, but she is just too weak right now to be considered for any trials. The ride home was tough. She has been very quiet the past 2 weeks, which I know equates to either angry or sad. In this case, sad. On the way home she had a meltdown crying "I don't want to die, I'm so afraid, I don't want to die...."! I know how tough it is on me, our daughters, and her sisters. I cannot fathom the weight on her shoulders. It can break me just thinking about being in her shoes! I've been with this same woman for longer than most of you have been on this planet (over half my life). Statements like that make me feel so old, and at the same time I can't believe how short 31 years can seem! Sometimes reality has a way of just stepping up and kicking you right in the balls with hiking boots!

By the evening we were both doing better and we are back on the way to standing tall. Not sure why I'm putting this here... but it lightens my shoulders. FB is too broad an audience, and I just needed to vent. SO there ya go, thanks for listening, and now back to our regularly scheduled program.

We hope to hit the road next week Wednesday if I can get her strength up. The Redwoods are calling, and we've got things to do!!!

    I need some of these!

If she is comfortable, and you are secure in your own mind, just be proud she loves you. Is it bad that I really want to see this woman now? LOL. Seriously, women think so different than us. We are all about sex, they are all about looking good. Any worry and or jealousy will change nothing for the good. Keep treating her right, and all that strutting around is for your benefit only.

I have been on camping trips where a chick or two gets all glammed up in the AM... makeup, push up bra, hair spray.... crazy senseless shit! HOWEVER, it sure didn't hurt the event or my eyes. As a matter of fact, could have used some "eyeagra" more than once as my eyes would tire out!!!!

    TW.... good for the soul!
