Not tonight. Ran Jacoby Trail and called it a day and chilled at camp.

Kyle. Let's be clear about one thing: you have my number. Remember when you texted me after Huntington? I don't always scroll 5,10,15+ pages to catch up on threads. You can easily contact me if you want. I texted you tonight to see what's up and then check tw to see you talking some wacky shit. Lastly, we saw you drive by us in your dad's tundra today and what did you do? You flipped us off. I forgive you, junior. But watch that venom you seem to enjoy slaying. Good day.

Ehh.. I'd describe it as a rough sensation like your shocks aren't slowing you down anymore. Until you start really feeling floppy over bumps then you know you cooked the oil pretty good.

Figure : shocks absorb motion via hydraulic friction, right? Basically moving oil through things makes heat instead of motion and stops the springs from undulating uncontrollably.

Fade is the oil heating up to a point where it is no longer generating sufficient friction to dampen that undulation. The springs front/rear just keep rocking back and forth.

My apologies Greg, didn't mean for the usual shit talking to get so venomous. Guess my weeks been longer than I thought, but that's no excuse. If time permits maybe I can get you a beer tomorrow to make it up?

As far as the drive by flip off, that wasn't meant to be hostile. Its just something I do with my friends. @Nicklovin has been flipped off more times than I can count, once during a small game of chicken lol. Hopefully no hard feelings with you, @YotaGurlIAm or @ODNAREM.

Couldn't it mean you just need new bushings? Not that experienced with leaves, but from what I understand that is possible

Actually that sounds more like springs. Your truck will still list/lean/etc. even with good shocks (although not as much) because the weight is shifting it's if the motion becomes undulating, sharp, or repetitive that you should consider shocks.

Some leaf springs squeak, if yours are bone stock its probably time to consider a new pack.

@goblue82 just got a set of dakars and the bamf relocation with 12" kings. I'll have a set of AllPro standards with some basic fox 2.0 in a short bit. You're welcome to ride along and check the flex and ride when it's ready

Yeahhh I should probably be a little more careful with it. Almost did it to a couple randoms who drive similar cars as my friends
I used to love to, then I'd realize I don't have gas money and immediately regret it haha

No clue, I'm not sure if it's been done, I haven't checked. I'd think any set of leaf springs would see an advantage from the relocation and longer shocks though.
Long term, my next upgrade to my suspension will be the relocation kit, shackle flip and a proper length set of rear shocks to match.
