You can't see the oil coming out but it seems like it's coming from the hose inside the steel braid. It just soaks through the steel braid and then eventually makes the fittings wet.

So the shock mounting point has been effectively lowered, which effectively reduces axle down travel/makes the shock bottom out earlier, and the mounts themselves actually reduce ground clearance under the mounts.

    Not many(less than 1000), I didn't note install miles (about 20 days).

I think it moves the shock mount away from the axle an inch for the mount to clear, but I don't think the actual height is changed. looks like the fit kit also doubles as a shock mount "skid"

This, I just measured an 1/8" difference in the front and rear of my mounts, both sides.

I know ARB will take care if me, they were great to deal with directly for my old front nitrochargers (even though that may have been my fault).

(EDIT THE BP-51 IS NOT AN EXTENDED TRAVEL SHOCK )

As for @Sandman614 leaking shock well I obviously hope this doesn't turn out to be an issue for the new system. It was a risk we took being early adopters of ARBs remote res tech.. (crossing fingers :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:)

    Borrowed from @Crom thread

    OLD Yellow OME N182 Nitrocharger
    • Internal Design: Twintube, low pressure.
    • Extended Length: 23.94"
    • Collapsed Length: 13.86"

    New Silver Bilstein RCD/BE5-B110-T5
    • Monotube, High Pressure gas shock
    • Extended Length: 27.28"
    • Collapsed Length: 16.34"
I measured the BP-51, got 25 3/4, (or 25.5?) but I'm not positive I measured at the correct point at the top, measured from center of lower mount eye EDIT, THE BP51 IS NOT AN EXTENDED TRAVEL SHOCK

Sorry to hear the trouble with the new shocks. :(

Since we're comparing, i'll comment a little bit.

ON the B110 shock, It is exactly 27.28" as measured from the center of the shock eye mount to just under the lower frame bushing washer.

Using your photo for reference, and looking at just under the lower frame bushing washer, that would be where the OME shocks has the 24.5" mark.

    That's a difference of 2.78".

    See illustration.

I measured from the green arrow, down to center of eye.

If you want a direct comparison between shocks, that is what you'll want to do. :)
