NW WA Meet / BS Thread

I might be down to do a cruise with ya. Where are you coming from? I gotta ask my buddy if he's willing to drive as well.

 

The ferry from Fauntleroy is leaving at 8:20. Might take that into consideration.

 

That's if you get on it. Remember everyone else is thinking the same as you. And also there is only 1 ferry for that running until they get the other one fixed. I'm in N. Kirkland right next to evergreen hospital.

 

True. Ok so I got the green light from my buddy to drive as well. What do you think? Should we pull the trigger and shoot for the cruise?

 

I'm game for the cruise. Honestly I did the math and it comes out the same give or take 5 bucks and it's not like it's a dinner cruise on the ferry with an open bar. Would be bad ass if we get more guys to join. A ton of N sound guys are going right? Would make for some good go pro footage. Also the guys with Jerry cans be careful. They can refuse to let you on the ferry if they see them in the open.

 

Yeah no jerry cans on the ferry.. Found that out the hard way. I might cruise down

I'd be down but I would be backtracking 15 miles at that point plus ferry cost

 

True... We live just down from the ferry, so it's easiest for us... Plus, only 40-something miles instead of 80-something miles...

Also, I get Disability Discount

My friend and I will probably pick some sandwiches at Seattle deli in Edmonds at 8. Can meet you anywhere you want after that. Unless you trying to be on the road before 8 I can work something out with him.

 

We can meet at South Center mall to make it easier for both of us. I'm closer to I-5 than 405

 

It's an 1hr 20 commute from kirkland to Safeway in belfair.seattle deli is 20 minutes from totem lake. We can meet at 830 and still make it in belfair by 10

 

Are we going to stop trail-side to eat lunch, or should I plan on bringing a lunch that's trail-proof?

 

I plan on buying a sandwich from safeway. Nothing to eat out there once your in the woods
