I bought my LEDs elsewhere a couple of years ago (ran them in my 1st Gen before moving them to my current 2nd Gen). Zero problems with them in both trucks.

Well I gave up on the led. Bought the AMD brand and I have the exact same flickering problem. 3rd set so I know it isnt the bulb.. My neighbors prob think im a damn tweeker, lol. Maybe is because I have a trailer plug? Anyways, I bought the T4 35w that EDDO suggested and they work great. They are 3000 temp, wish I could find a 5000-6000 in the halogen bulb but I have searched my ass off and no dice.. I probably will have to do the 880 mod if I want 6000.. Thx again EDDO!

Ok...so I just purchased some Sylvania led 921 for my backup lights. I'm now taking them back, the stock bulbs are brighter and better looking. Pretty disappointed. Are there any good led bulbs that will be brighter than stock? Even the taillight leds were no different. Thanks 2016 DCSB

Philips makes an LED 921. Look on Amazon. I'm running them now. Whiter than stock and minimally brighter. I like them. Don't be expecting to be blown away but if I had to chose between the regular bulbs and the Philips LED, I'd take the Philips.

You may need to adjust display settings after install if you have the backup camera.

While you're at it, pick up the dome and map LED's. See this thread.

The sylvania 194/168 in the maps are absolutely awesome. Super bright. See post #4 for link.

I run the Phillips led bulbs too and they are fantastic!
