I meant, are we planning on eating while driving, or stopping to eat our packed lunches? If we stop, I can make myself a salad and not be worried I'm going to stab myself with the fork trying to eat it. Lol!

My husband is the only person I know that can drive and eat ANYTHING at the same time, no matter the road conditions...

Shit man do you want me to grab you a couple of sandwiches at Seattle Deli then? It's a lot cheaper and more delicious then sandwiches at Safeway lol. I can spot you if you want.

I'm driving a lifted 3rd gen 4Runner; trying to convince my girl that we should head down there on Saturday. If I can do it, I'd be meeting up with you guys at South Center.

Dude that's awesome. Welcome aboard. I tried tagging my gf along for the trip but she didn't want to go so I'm ditching her on Saturday haha..

 

Ha, I think I'm following suit. My girl isn't feeling the same level of excitement that I am for this trip I have done tons of work on my SUV to get it ready for adventures this summer - timing belt, water pump, bumpers, suspension lift, valve cover gaskets, etc., etc. One thing that I cannot get working is my rear diff lock. It bugs me, but I'll have to substitute bravado and yelling, along with heavy doses of speed to get me through obstacles

 

I was considering gracing you all with my presence on Saturday, but a nice old lady in a Ford Fusion made the decision that my wife and I need to go car shopping instead.

My wife was cruising along Lake Wa. Blvd this afternoon when a woman at a stop sign pulled out right into the side of her car. Impact was right behind Emily's door and sent her sideways and up a berm. ALMOST made it into the back yard of a multi-million dollar house. Not quite. I'm sure the car is totaled: Driver's rear quarter panel and driver's rear suspension destroyed on impact, front bumper destroyed from jumping the curb, undercarriage didn't look too hott, etc. etc.

Wife and passenger were fine. Old lady was fine. Everyone was insured.

 

Alex, that sucks. Sorry to hear about it, but glad that everyone was ok. Too bad you can't make it down there with us. Good luck getting things sorted out and getting a replacement car.

 

I'll join the convoy. Are you still going to the deli in edmonds at 8? I can meet there.

My truck is going to the shop today so I won't make it. A drunk man decided to go Ali and box up the entire passenger side of my truck. Denting it from the rear panel on the bed, front of the bed, access can door and pass door. Creased a few spots where it chipped the paint. Estimate of $2400 bucks and a week in the shop
