This hurt my heart when I did it, but as I was placing some groceries on the floor of the passenger seat I had my ridiculous non-switch blade SR5 key in my hand and incidentally raked it into the glove box door. It's bothering the shit out of me and I really want to fix it without spending the $150 on a new box...I know it seems minor, and it is, but does any one have any ideas on this? It did create a slight divot, so I can't just buff it out. THANKS!

not much you can do bud... same thing happened to mine back in 2011. forgetting its there really helps you not care about it anymore. best I can do is find a marker that closely matches the plastic color and color over it.

Can't fix it. Your best bet is to cover it with a dash kit or stickers.

No advice on how to fix it but I understand where you are coming from. Unlike the others, it would bug the hell out of me also.

A dressing may decrease the appearance. Maybe something like Aerospace 303.

Put a bandaid on it. It will heal in a week or so.

Call around to your local car stereo shops, ask if they use a mobile dash repair service. I used to work for Car Toys here in Oregon and we had a guy that came by once or twice a week who do amazing work on things like this

It won't be the last. Especially if a woman occupies that seat. Jewelry/nails+interior do not go well together.

Take a hair dryer and just run it over it on high heat for a bit. You won't melt the plastic, but you will get it to become the same color through and through. Wont even notice it.
