2016 NCAA Football Thread

Not cocky, confident. I just don't see us having more than 2 losses. Worst case scenario would be losing to Bama and either at Georgia or at A&M. It's not even much to say UT would beat more than half of the ACC because they're just garbage.

 

First of all, if Clemson was in the SEC east they'd win it year in and year out, and I hate the fact a just said that but it's true. They are that good you all just have your SEC drunk goggles on. Also all of you who said FSU is basically nothing in the last few pages are fucking stupid. Yes the rest of the ACC isn't that great, but the SEC is nowhere near as far ahead as y'all seem to think they are.

 

I have no problems with FSU or Clemson, they're both good teams. But to think that they would win even the SEC east every year (as bad as it has been the last few years) is a joke. Remember, we play Bama every single season. Clemson plays a meh USC team. And Florida st has had their fair share of trouble with Florida. You can say you have 5 of the last 6, but the lat 10 years are dead split. They're going through the same thing UT has been right now. There are no SEC drunk goggles. Yes Clemson and FSU could play with some of the best in the SEC, but that's not what I'm preaching. Top to bottom, the SEC is more talented overall. We have at minimum 6 or 7 teams that can play with and beat Clemson/FSU on any given day. The ACC can only offer two solid teams in FSU and Clemson. Do you see what I'm saying?

 

I disagree with 6-7 teams. Also I really don't care about 10 years ago. History doesn't define what a team will be this year, the only thing that defines that are the roster and the coaching, both of which is incredibly good at FSU and not so great at UF if I do say so myself. Also yes put FSU or Clemson into the SEC East in any of the last 3 years and I have no doubt that one of those two teams wins it. UF has been down, UGA is UGA, UT is never as good as projected. The east has nothing.

 

Bama, Ole Miss, LSU, UGA, UT, and A&M would be the 6 teams with the most talent this year. YES any of the last 3 years would have come down to Clemson and GA in the SEC east. It's been bad. But still by FAAAARRRR better than the coastal division. UT does well with the media, those however that actually keep up with the team knew that this would be the best year of recent given that Butch's recruits have had time to fill the roster from what we have had in years past. So when you say the East has nothing, you do recognize that they would spank your weaker division (ACC coastal)? Right?

 

Hell man, South Carolina beat the #1 team in the coastal division last year.

 

Not saying Clemson or Florida St is bad, theyre obviously great programs no matter how many rapist qbs they produce (sorry, couldnt resist) but its comes down to strength of schedule. And if youre in the SEC, especially the SEC west, you have the toughest schedule in the country hands down

 

But I had to root for University of Houston last year in the bowl game, mom went there haha. Changing the subject, UofH fans have been so irritating this off-season. They have one good season in the schools history and suddenly they think they run Texas. Their irrelevant little school is nothing but a doormat for the rest of Texas to step on. Will be rooting against them this season (sorry mom). Oklahoma needs to stick a foot down their confident little throats to kick off the season. Gonna be painful rooting for OU, theyre worse than UT. Theyre actually stupid. Good football historically, but racist and so very mind-numbingly dumb

Out of the SEC only Ole Miss has a stronger strength of schedule than FSU this year, soooo

 

I have a poster of every SEC teams schedule right next to my bed and just at a glance Kentucky, Vandy, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, MS St, Ole Miss and A&M have a tougher schedule

 

I'm going based on current SOS rankings.
1. USC
2. Ole Miss
3. FSU
4. Bama

Bro FSU is up there only because they play both Ole Miss and Florida. So you're welcome we let you play us poon. If Clemson were the only decent team on your schedule your strength of schedule would be like 48th. The key is take an average of your conference SOS over the last 3 or 4 years and take an average ranking. Bet FSU sucks there too.
