I'd have to keep mine, so when they need rebuilt I can still use my truck. Or learn how to rebuild them (shouldn't be hard just messy)

I still have my stock shocks I could throw on in the meantime, would have some crazy rake lol

But how often do they need rebuilding?

It's honestly not that hard to valve coilovers. I've helped my dad revalve his quite a few times and it's not messy at all... unless you forget to clamp down the shock :anonymous: I really think it's harder to get the compression and rebound on point then anything else. Just do your homework and you'd be fine.

Every X amount of miles, not real sure

That's what I'm thinking, not hard but with there not being any local shops that I'd trust to do it, I may as well learn and save a few bucks

I'd search around on Pirate 4x4. I remember there was a thread talking about maintaining a trail rig. Depending how many trails you do in a year. The guy said if you running the rig every weekend, then rebuild shocks and coilovers every year to every other year.

ADS said wheeling twice a month equals a rebuild in 3-4 years.

Same price as icon with RR.

I agree with buy once cry once. After I get this shock then I'll only be doing rebuilds on it. I'm thinking for now I know I don't go offroading a lot but that may change in the future. So I guess I'd rather be prepared.

Right now two jobs, about 60 +/- hours a week. I really only like to buy one big item a year usually during the summer because that's when I works the most.

Hey, @4Running Daily how did you mount the RR in the new location. Did they make a new mounting bracket for you?
