Well no gym today for me.. not paying $15 to park in the garage since all the street parking is blocked off.. I'll weigh myself tomorrow which sucks since I'm supposed to go out tonight.

Shit! Forgot what day it was! Working 7, 12 hr night shifts in a row, lost track of the day.

Will weigh in this evening...not expecting miracles. Good on the eating, bad on the exercise for the week.

Just had Stacey help me to the scale lol. 240 so back up. I'm oretty sure my sling weighs 2 lbs but I won't even lie. I ate a whole pint of Ben and Kerry's last night As well as a large beef and broccoli from the Chinese place here. Not even worried about the scale right now but figured I'd check.

Went on a biz trip this week and went on 2 hikes between conferences. Same trail, 7 miles round trip each time with 2700' of elevation change up to 9000'. Great hike. I ate pretty good the whole trip, but came home and I'm up a half pound since we started this program! My legs are like rocks though, so I know I have a ton of water weight from healing up. I've been peeing like a faucet today so at least I'm getting rid of it. Got another big hike tomorrow which should help me cut some of the water weight back down. We'll see how it goes.

Well, back to my original weight from when we started this thing... 187.0

At least I went the RIGHT direction this week! And now I have my gym membership started, so last night was my first hour long workout session. We'll see how this next week goes now that I can get in on a regular basis!

I thought I was actually seeing results and it wasn't just in my head.
A co-worker (who I went to school with) told me today that it looked like I had lost some weight.

    I was 5'-8" @ 160# in the military in my 20's ... and today maybe 5'-7 1/2" @ 163# = lost 1/2" in height and gained 3 pounds.

I vacillate between 155 to 165 depending on what I eat and how much physical activity I have.

FWIW ... when I want to lose weight ... I cut back on carbs ... pasta & bread puts weight on me fast.

Drinking lots of water makes me feel better and I eat less and drop pounds fast too.

Good luck with your lifestyles, foods and exercise.

Didn't eat great today, a little carb heavy I think (haven't logged yet, won't do it until tomorrow) and I ate 4 meals, but it's been a long ass 21 hour day.

In an all day meeting today. Forgot to weigh in this week. Will weigh myself today after the gym. Going to try to get extra workouts in these next couple of weeks.

Did a big hike this past Saturday for me. 9 miles roundtrip, climbed another 2600' in elevation to just over 10,000'. This time I took my full 30# pack (weighed in at exactly 30.0# that morning, with water). Crushed the mountain. Spent Saturday evening rehydrating and got bloated on electrolytes. Ate like a hog yesterday, so I'm maintaining my starting weight but my legs are swollen a bit so I have more water weight to cut again. But, I got in 26 miles this week at altitude, with a total cumulative altitude gain of exactly 8,000'.

    Mt. Whitney, here I come.

Down to 161.8. About 0.6 lbs a week which I'm happy with. And that was even after this weekend and having a large lunch with my team.

Dropped to 159 from my goal weight at 160. May make a stretch goal to get to 155 which was last achieved sometime when Y2K was a thing.

Been working out 4-5x/ week. Was gone for camping and the birthday over the weekend and assumed I'd have gained weight, but I'm still right around 250 at a loss of 9 lbs. I have definitely gained some muscle mass to get here, too. Think I see it in my face and high torso. Usually the first place I gain or lose weight.

Right pic is June 1, left is today.

Taking mine today- 205.8, down 1lb since last weigh-in.

Gonna be out at a remote site for the next 3 days helping my son on his Eagle project. He's building a remote access 2 stall evaporative toilet on Canyon Ferry reservoir. He's got 30 people on a crew for 3 days. All men, material and supplies have to transported via boat. Gonna be fun!

Awesome project! Now it's time to work on that dilapidated dock that tragically killed that little boy this spring. Friends of the family.
